1966 TORCITURA DI DOMASO was founded
In Domaso on the banks of Upper Lake Como, Luigi Valsecchi revived a silk twisting plant that was being closed.
1970s and 1980s SILK
Torcitura di Domaso consolidated its position in the preparation and twisting of silk and continuous yarns, becoming a benchmark for the entire silk district on Lake Como.
1990s NEW ENERGY
The arrival of Mario Valsecchi gave the business new energy and new drive, expanding its horizons.
At the end of the 1990s, Andrea Valsecchi also joined the company.
Since 2000 DIVERSIFICATION
These have been the years of diversification: new materials were introduced, including lamé, in a whole range of colors and shades.
During this period, the Silkest production unit in Romania came into being, a wholly controlled subsidiary of TDD, to fight the growing aggression from Chinese spun yarns.
